A national monument and one of the oldest houses in Swellendam, the Hideaway Guest House boasts four very spacious and elegant individually decorated rooms in a lush, green garden setting with amazing views of the looming mountain behind.

All rooms are air conditioned and furnished with fine handcrafted furniture, antiques and beautiful original paintings, prints and photographs.

Our internationally famous English style cooked breakfasts or extensive continental are personally prepared by Stephen and Jackie to order each morning and served with fresh home baked scones, muffins and breads, complemented by homemade preserves and jams, freshly squeezed fruit juices and plenty of fresh fruit, yoghurt and honey.
